Biography
Hello, my name is Kristal Edwards, I joined EDG Nursery in August 2017 as part of the management team to improve the quality and standards of practice and learning for your children.
I am qualified in Early Years as well as Leadership and Management. I have thoroughly enjoyed working within the Early Years Sector since 2010, gaining experience in every role, from Student to Room Leader to Deputy Manager and on to Nursery Manager.
I have a passion for the Reggio Emilia approach, this is promoted throughout the teaching and practice in the nursery and shown in the children's learning and development.
I strive to provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children in innovative and creative ways, in a stimulating and enabling environment.
My goal is for every child to be valued and appreciated as an individual in society and for children's voices to be not only listened to but heard.
At EDG Nursery we are not only a team but a family and together we share the same values and beliefs for children's learning.
